This 501 (c) (3) (tax exempt) organization is free standing/separate from the Pharmacy State Board and the State Pharmacy Professional Organizations. It does carry general liability insurance, and utilize substance abuse professionals with credentials for evaluations. This organization has a written agreement and enabling legislation with the Board of Pharmacy.
What about funding? The organization charges client fees: $400 per year of involvement. It does receive funding by participating licensing boards.
Active clients include: Pharmacists, Pharmacy Students, Nurses, Doctors, and other licensed medical professionals.
