Wyoming Professional Assistance Program (WPAP) provides a confidential resource to professionals with substance use or mental/behavioral health conditions. Our services are completely confidential. Neither your circumstances or your identity will ever be disclosed without your written authorization. This confidentially is ensured by Federal Regulations 42 CFR Part 2 and Wyoming State Statute 33-1-115.
Wyoming Professional Assistance Program offers assessment, referral for treatment, reentry support, and monitoring for professionals in Wyoming. They currently contract with licensing boards for pharmacy, nursing, medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and the state bar.
What about funding? The organization charges client fees - $100 per month is the standard for pharmacists. $25 for Pharmacy Techs. Primary funding for WPAP is from licensing boards (including pharmacy).
