This organization is free standing/separate from the Pharmacy State Board, and is a committee under the State Association. It does carry general liability insurance (through the state association), and utilize substance abuse professionals with credentials during aftercare. It has enabling legislation that limits liability.
What about funding? The organization does not charge client fees. It receives funding through license renewal fees: $1.00/ license. Other funding: State professional organization
