Univ. of Colorado Drug Testing Policy

University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences
Drug Testing Policy: If a student has a positive test, s/he would not necessarily be dismissed from the program, but would be referred to resources and monitoring for assistance and support to complete the program.  If the problem is deemed to be very serious, the student may be required to complete intensive out-patient or even in-patient treatment, which may delay their progression and graduation.  It is only if s/he were not compliant with these measures or there were other serious criminal infractions (selling, diversion, etc.), that s/he would be at risk for dismissal.
